The main objective of this session is to explain the importance for the 21st-century manager to develop a level of data literacy in the science of data. Data science is the combination of traditional quantitative methods, algorithmics, and knowledge from a discipline, in this case, international business.

Description: Access our computing servers through this short exercise and familiarize yourself with new quantitative methods. Put yourself in the position of the World Health Organization (WHO), which is recruiting data analysts to propose new solutions. Through a simple exercise, you will realize how often it is more challenging to use traditional tools (spreadsheet, etc.) to answer a question from your supervisor at WHO than to use 3 lines of code.
